Beginning Ballet
Description
Dancers continue learning ballet fundamentals and concepts such as turnout and spatial awareness. This class focuses on developing musicality, ballet vocabulary, and having fun!
Dance classes will meet in the lobby of Davenport Junior Theatre.

Classes meet once a week at scheduled time.
A Parent/Guardian must sign their child in and out.
All students must be potty-trained before enrolling.
Students are encouraged to bring their own water bottles.

Session Schedule: June 8th - August 8th (8 Weeks)
No Class: June 29 - July 2
Sharings: Classes will end with an in class presentation the last week of class.
Price: Davenport Resident*: $68 | Non Resident*: $85
*Classes & events cancelled by inclement weather or facility emergency cannot be made up at a later time.
*DJT is a proud program of Davenport Parks & Recreation. Our programs and facility are supported by Davenport taxpayers. Therefore, all Davenport residents receive 20% off registration fee (capped at $20 per class).
Attire (The following dance attire is required for all classes and can be purchased locally or online. (There are no color requirements on dance apparel) All hair must be pulled back):
Leotard, tights (suggested color: Pink) dance skirt/shorts OR Form fitting top, dance pants/leggings, tights.
Shoes: pink or black leather/canvas ballet shoes. No house shoes or fabric soles.
