Description

Let imaginations soar with Theatre Fun! This high energy class is full of creative theatre games that focus on getting our youngest students engaged by using their bodies, voices, and imaginations. They’ll learn basic theatre warm-ups, games, and skills to create imaginative stories and characters!

Theatre classes will meet in the lobby of Davenport Junior Theatre.

Classes meet once a week at scheduled time.

A Parent/Guardian must sign their child in and out.
Students missing more than 2 classes may not perform in showcase without instructor approval.
Students must be potty-trained before joining.

Details

Session Schedule: September 12 - December 10 (12 Weeks)
No Class: November 23 - 28 (Thanksgiving Break)
Showcase Days: Weekend of December 12 & 13. Exact format, days, & times will be announced by Week 3 of class.
Tech Rehearsals: Students will report to the Nighswander Theater during week 11 (November 21, November 30 - December 3) OR week 12 (December 5 - 10) of class during their regularly scheduled class time. The schedule will be posted on our website by Week 3 of class.
Price: Davenport Resident*: $110 | Non Resident*: $130

*Classes & events cancelled by inclement weather or facility emergency cannot be made up at a later time.
*DJT is a proud program of Davenport Parks & Recreation. Our programs and facility are supported by Davenport taxpayers. Therefore, all Davenport residents receive 20% off registration fee (capped at $20 per class).
