Tech Design
Description
What does it take to put up a theatrical production? How do you program lights, design sound, build a set, or collaborate as a designer with a director? This class explores all the work that goes behind the magic of theatre. Concludes with sharing of new skills and designs during final class time. Students will not perform during showcase.
Theatre classes will meet in the lobby of Davenport Junior Theatre.

Classes meet once a week at scheduled time.
A Parent/Guardian must sign their child in and out.
Students missing more than 2 classes may not perform in showcase without instructor approval.
Students must be potty-trained before joining.

Session Schedule: September 8 - December 4 (12 Weeks)
No Class: November 24-29 (Thanksgiving Break)
Showcase Day: Students will not perform during showcase. Concludes with sharing of new skills during final class time.
Price: Davenport Resident*: $145 | Non Resident*: $165
*Classes & events cancelled by inclement weather or facility emergency cannot be made up at a later time.
*DJT is a proud program of Davenport Parks & Recreation. Our programs and facility are supported by Davenport taxpayers. Therefore, all Davenport residents receive 20% off registration fee (capped at $20 per class).
