Intermediate Acting

Description

(Pre-requisite = Completion of 2 “Acting 7-8,” “Acting 9-10,” or "Acting 11-12" courses + Teacher Recommended)

Building on skills learned in previous courses, Intermediate Acting provides a greater learning challenge. Physicality, characterization, and vocalization skills are expanded upon. Grow your skills and make your story larger than life.

Theatre classes will meet in the lobby of Davenport Junior Theatre.

Classes meet once a week at scheduled time.

A Parent/Guardian must sign their child in and out.
Students missing more than 2 classes may not perform in showcase without instructor approval.
Students must be potty-trained before joining.

Session Schedule: January 12 - March 27 (10 Weeks)
No Class: March 16 - 21 (Spring Break)
Showcase Day: Weekend of March 28-29. Exact format, days, & times will be announced by Week 3 of class.
Tech Week: March 24, 25, OR 26. Exact format, days, & times will be announced by Week 3 of class.
Price: Davenport Resident*: $130 | Non Resident*: $150

*Classes & events cancelled by inclement weather or facility emergency cannot be made up at a later time.
*DJT is a proud program of Davenport Parks & Recreation. Our programs and facility are supported by Davenport taxpayers. Therefore, all Davenport residents receive 20% off registration fee (capped at $20 per class).
