The Children's Literature Association named this "the best American children's book of the past two hundred years," so why not make it an amazing stage play?!  All the enchanting characters are here: Wilbur, the irresistible young pig who desperately wants to avoid the butcher; Fern, a girl who understands what animals say to one another; Templeton, the gluttonous rat who can occasionally be talked into a good deed; the Zuckerman family; the Arables; and, most of all, the extraordinary spider, Charlotte, who proves to be “a true friend and a good writer.” Determined to save Wilbur, Charlotte begins her campaign with the "miracle" of her web in which she writes, "Some pig."  And Wilbur sure is “some pig” indeed.  This is a beautiful, knowing play about friendship, compassion and caring for others that will delight kids and adults alike.

The king has many strong qualities, like bullheadedness, arrogance, and vanity.  Many in the kingdom have tried to change his ways and failed.  Sometimes though, lessons can be learned in the most unexpected ways.  Join us for this all original Junior Theatre retelling, brought to the stage by our very own Aaron Randolph III and the kids of DJT!

The Cat in the Hat narrates the story of Horton the Elephant, who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos. Horton must protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, and he must also guard an abandoned egg that's been left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird.  Although Horton faces ridicule, danger and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him.  Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant!

Oh the Thinks you can Think!

Our rehearsals are led by top area professionals!  All the student actors and crew auditioned to be a part of the production.

Seuss has many students involved.   30 actors, 7 crew, 4 Front-of-House Team Members, 2 Showtime Pals.  With over 40 kids involved, it is going to be a big show.

We typically rehearse 4 to 5 days per week.  Some actors are called more than others.

We hope you can join us for Seuss!  Checkout this link for the show details.
