Ballet I - IV

The continuation of the formal study of ballet technique. Dancers will be learn more advanced combinations at the barre and across the floor. Dancers will begin to strengthen muscles in the legs and feet needed to safely execute steps, through exercises. Dancers work on jumps, turns, proper turnout and posture, and combinations across the floor.

Beginning Tap

Students will learn the fundamentals of tap while working on coordination and rhythm along with proper execution of basic technique. Tap will provide students with practice in leg and foot coordination, timing, and rhythm.

Tap/Jazz I-III

Students looking to continue their tap and jazz technique will learn new and more complex steps and combinations in both styles. Time steps and turning steps will be introduced in tap. Jazz will include practice in pirouettes, leaps, and more complex combinations. Class will begin with proper stretching and warm ups for each style. Students work on their memorization skills by learning short routines.

A combination of ballet, jazz, and modern dance with emphasis on fluidity and grace, lyrical focuses on the feeling behind the music and expressing emotions through movement. Dancers learn to express themselves as artists while dancing to stories revealed in the lyrics of contemporary music.

Intermediate & Advanced Tumble

This class is for students who have mastered the basics of tumbling and are ready for more complex skills and combinations. Tumblers will continue to improve tumbling basics as they are the foundation for intermediate and advanced skills. Class will begin with a warm up and stretch session. Tumblers will begin to work on tumbling routines that will be performed at presentations and recital.
