Jessica Sheridan, Managing Artistic Director

Jessica holds a BA in Theatre from St. Ambrose University and a Master's in Arts Management from the University of Oklahoma. She is a professional photographer, a former teaching artist for Davenport Junior Theatre spanning 16 years, as well as director, designer and former board member for Junior Theatre Inc.'s Mainstage program. Notable past experiences include studying with the Dell'Arte Company of California, studying with the former head of voice for the Royal Shakespeare Company's Andrew Wade, working with Broadway director Philip Wm. McKinley and playwright William Luce, and working with the QC Theatre Workshop and Aaron Randolph III on his all original play Green River.

Her list of favorite JT experiences is long but some that rise to the top are directing the steampunk inspired Pinocchio, directing a new adaptation of Jungle Book featuring mask work, directing Scrooge way back in 2009, and stage managing the original adaptation of Aesop's Fables. She has worked with thousands of kids of all ages during her time with Junior Theatre and can't wait to continue!
