Summer 2026 Junior Theatre Camps
Description
Explore acting, improvisation, movement, lights, sound, make-up, and specialty classes. Students will collaborate on the creation of their very own script to perform! Camps are based around a special theme that allows students to experience something new every time. Camp ends with a performance for family and friends on Friday at 4:00pm at the Nighswander Theatre. Join the adventure!
Students are to bring a sack lunch and water bottle. Snack break provided.
Parent or Guardian must fill out Camp Waiver before the first day of camp.

Camp Price:
$210 Davenport Resident
$230 Non-Davenport Resident
$30 Add on Fee for early drop off (7:45-8:40am) and late pickup (3:40-5:15pm)
*DJT is a proud program of Davenport Parks & Recreation. As taxpayers who offset the cost of our department, Davenport citizens receive a 20% discount (up to a $20 cap) per directive of City Council.

Monday, June 15 - Friday, June 19
8:45 AM - 3:30 PM
It’s time to begin the trek as young performers explore the diverse jungle flora and fauna—all while telling the stories the jungle has to offer with creativity and confidence!

Monday, July 20 - Friday, July 24

Young performers will put their skills to the test as they experiment with storytelling, tinker around with performance, and learn the ins and outs of stagecraft, building up their confidence and technical prowess!

Whodunnit?! Young sleuths will investigate mysteries and spin imaginative yarns while gaining storytelling skills, as they work together to figure out what really happened at Mystery Manor.
