Valerie Moore, Facility Coordinator, Instructor

Valerie has been in the Quad Cities since she was 4 years old. She graduated from Pleasant Valley High School where she was very active in their Theatre Department from Assistant Stage Management to Scenic Design to Pit Orchestra. Valerie went on to graduate from the University of Iowa with a BA in Theatre Arts. During her time there she studied Stage Management and even performed in one production!

After graduating from Iowa, Valerie continued her theatre career at PV coming back as their Technical Director for two years. She has worked in many local community theatres with roles ranging from sound board operator to technical director and just about everything in between. 

In 2014 Valerie was the Stage Manager for her first DJT production and hasn't looked back! Valerie loves working with the students at Junior Theatre and sharing her love of all things technical theatre.
