Bucktown Revue

The Bucktown Revue

One of our current regular guests is the Bucktown Revue. Bucktown is a live, on-stage radio show in the vein of "A Prairie Home Companion", which features local musicians, poets, storytellers, and more. The Barley House Band is the Bucktown Revue's house band, serving up traditional Irish and Scottish music flavored with influences from the Midwestern heartland.

In the course of any show, you're likely to hear a wide variety of music, from The Barley House Band's folk tunes to hammered dulcimer to barbershop quartet. Add to that a comic sketch or two, and host Scott Tunnicliff's simultaneously humorous, heart-warming, and engaging monologues, and you've got The Bucktown Revue.

The Bucktown Revue plays the Nighswander Theatre on the third Friday of each month, September through May. To get more information, see more photos, listen to a show, or buy tickets, visit their website.

On Sunday mornings all of the Missional Communities scattered throughout the Quad Cities come together as a covenant family to worship Jesus. As a diverse group of people; we worship through music, liturgy, sacrament and the Word of God. We encourage families to worship together. Children ages newborn to 9 years old are invited to join us in SC Kids where they will hear a gospel-centered lesson, learn catechism, pray together, and do activities that correlate to the lesson.
