Tayler Hein, Instructor
Tayler Hein has been dancing her whole life. It stared when she took a dance class with DJT at 7 years old. From there she participated in dance and cheer clinics as a child, and in 7th grade she decided to join the Cambridge Junior High Dance Team to make friends after her family moved to town. She immediately fell in love, and went on to compete with the Cambridge/Ridgewood High School Dance Team all 4 years of high school. In 2007, she placed 8th in the Junior Miss Illinois Drill Team Competition, and as a senior helped bring home a 2nd place trophy in the lyrical/contemporary division of the Illinois Drill Team Association State Contest.
In the summer of 2013, Tayler moved to Cincinnati, Ohio. There she started a job with the Boy Scouts of America, where she soon discovered her deep passion for working with Children. In October of 2015 she answered a job ad for a children's dance teacher with Tippi Toes Dance Cincinnati on a whim, not knowing that she was about to discover what she was meant to do. From starting out teaching 3 classes per week, to ending her 3rd season with Tippi Toes at a whopping 23 classes per week, teaching dance quickly became her life. She discovered an overwhelming passion within herself to spread a love of dance to every child she could possibly reach, and has now put that dream into action by joining the ranks of DJT!
When she is not dancing, you can find her doing fun activities with the many Cub Scout Outreach groups she leads, or sitting at home with her cats, drinking coffee and playing way too much Skyrim. (:
