MAINSTAGE

The Junior Theatre Mainstage Company is the second oldest producing company in the United States that is committed to the mission of "Theatre for kids, by kids."

The Mainstage productions provide a great opportunity for students to gain invaluable skills and make friends that will last a lifetime.

The Junior Theatre Mainstage Company is an audition-only group consisting of students, primarily 6th - 12th grade, from all over the Quad City Area. The Mainstage Company brings together the most talented youth alongside the strongest local professional designers and directors to bring high quality productions at an affordable rate to all.

We produce three to four fully realized productions in the Mary Fluhrer-Nighswander Theatre on the Annie Wittenmyer Complex. We also engage in workshops and summer projects.

Mainstage productions are supported by Junior Theatre, Inc., a non-profit entity dedicated to supporting Davenport Junior Theatre. The only way Junior Theatre can survive is by the generosity of others who believe in our mission and that the arts give children skills that crossover into every field.
